What do I do if my system isn't working correctly?

Who do I call when my system needs a routine service?

An Imotek engineer will contact you when your next routine service visit is due to schedule a mutually convenient date and time.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office number, 01487 843193, is available 24 hours a day, and is staffed between 9am and 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Calls received outside of normal business hours will be recorded and responded to immediately on the following business day.

Do I need a service contract?

We do recommend service contracts being taken out as it ensures the system will be regularly checked.

Service contract customers also benefit from discounts on parts and guaranteed emergency callout within 12 working hours of the fault being reported.

Imotek will happily service any Esaote system on a billable basis.

If you would like to arrange a service visit and you do not have a contract please call the office to discuss your options.

Do you use official parts?

Yes, we have full factory support and all of the replacement parts we use are either new or reconditioned by the factory

Could I use another service provider to look after my system?

At Imotek we have the only UK team of authorised service engineers fully factory-trained.

We use authorised parts from the factory and are regularly trained on new equipment and developments.

There are other companies who offer service contracts on a large number of manufacturers including Esaote. However we do not recommend using these as you cannot guarantee their competency, training or the legitimacy of the replacement parts used.

Why should we service our ultrasound & MRI equipment?

Hospitals and Veterinary practices can provide an unsympathetic working environment for equipment.

A regular service of equipment can help to reduce the chance of breakdown and prevent little issues becoming potentially larger expensive ones.

The chance for us to examine your equipment yearly means that we catch any impending issues early, helping to save you money.
