SECA have now launched the next generation of their CardioPad offering Wi-Fi connectivity and seca link software included as standard.

This ultra portable device comes with an 8", high-resolution, colour multi-touch screen with anatomical electrode placement adviser which helps to correctly place the electrodes with zoom-in and rotate functions for optimal view. Lead reversal, warnings and misplaced electrodes are immediately displayed before ECG acquisition.

ECGs are automatically downloaded in PDF to your pc following acquisition via Wi-Fi or LAN and are compatible with emis, SystmOne and Vision. Increased internal memory now allows upto 350 ECG’s to be stored directly on the device. On-screen preview of ECG allows recorded ECG's to be reviewed prior to printing, saving paper, plus the flat device design enables easy cleaning, supporting infection control policies.

Advanced algorithms have been implemented into the new CardioPad-2: with very high sampling frequency and a large frequency band. The CardioPad-2 delivers optimal signal quality and is an ideal tool for paediatric ECGs
